The teacher is responsible for the following:
1. The teaching position provides support to multiple children
2. The teacher is responsible for serving students with a variety of educational needs based on the individual's IEP.
3. The teacher plans and attends IEP meetings for students and assists in the evaluation process for initial eligibility.
4. The teacher serves as a resource to classroom teachers, school staff members, and service providers for educational skills, classroom modifications, and intervention strategies.
